I just discovered this free editor and I really like it. I want to share it for authors who are looking for a simple, open source and effective code editor. I think the most interesting part of this editor is; it built on HTML, CSS and JavaScript… Is anybody using it?

It’s really nice to use, typography on it is lovely. However there is a few cons, speaking as a sublime 2 user.

  • Can’t multi select (cntrl + click)
  • The find and replace doesn’t seem to be working
  • Live preview is only good for more than one monitor

Saying that live preview is incredible and this is a beautiful text editor, I know it’s not finished yet, and I can’t wait to see it when it is done

Yeah, it is indeed beautiful.

The find and replace does work, though, you just have to hit “enter” and then “enter” again. It’s a little bit not as intuitive as one would expect, you have to go one by one on each piece of text you want to replace, but it kind of works.

I got that you had to press enter and enter again it wasn’t changing anything however

Really? I’m coding a project for a client with it to try it out a little, and just did a find/replace yesterday with it. That’s odd. On which Sprint are you?

Loving it. Its has become more stable now. and supports many extensons too. For me it works as good as Sublime. And its fast and free. I would also suggest phpstorm. Love to work on css on that.
