I don’t know about you guys but this was one of the most interesting things about the old blog for me (Back when Scott was taking care of it, and it actually had some content!). It was really good to hear about other author’s stories, beginnings, concerns, frustrations etc. It injected some humanity into the faceless usernames / profiles. I would love to see this make a return appearance and would be willing to help out if required.

It surely something that would be very easy to reignite. Just send some questionnaires to a few authors and post questions, answers and an image on the blog. Its surely a format that would be suitable to the current Tumblog AD Blog?!

What do you guys think?

Any Authors interested in the idea of a community controlled author interview revival?

I propose to proivde some interested authors with a questionnaire and start a new thread each time with a new interview, which could then be commented upon / discussed by the community by posting directly underneath it.

I porpose to either use the original 10 questions (which I have) or to modify them a little, if the community feels it necessary, to be a little more candid.

So let me know if anyone would be interested in such a revival, and would be interested in being interviewed (via email), and if this is something AD would permit on the forums, because technically it would be (calling out an individual author..bla bla) ?

Some authors I would definitely like to see interviewed would be (just to mention a few):

CrackerJack, Lollipop, Marcfolio, pezflash, bitfade, robwes19, Chuckanuka, RimV, flasher3015, sike, flashDriven, wikedpixel ......
