Bulk FTP Submissions Issues Being Worked On

Hi PhotoDune’ers!

As some of you have noted in another thread or may have noticed, we’re currently experiencing some network issues related to bulk FTP submissions. Our dev team is working very hard to fix this and process any backlogged files. We hope to have this fixed shortly, but I wanted to keep all of you in the loop in case you weren’t already aware. At the moment, this is only related to PhotoDune and the bulk FTP submissions. I hope you’re all having a nice day, we will push out more updates when they come in

We’ve fixed the problem that we were having with the PhotoDune bulk FTP submissions. Any failed/stuck in processing PhotoDune submissions from the last couple of days are currently being processed. Although it will take a little while to get through the backlog.

Hey All,

Reprocessing the backlog of PhotoDune Bulk FTP submissions is taking a little longer than anticipated.

We hope to have this sorted out in the next 24 hours but in the mean time there will likely also be a delay in processing new submisstions.

We’re still processing the backlog so it’ll be a little slow for a while.

What’s the problem with your model releases?

Heya all,

The problems that we’ve been having over the last week with uploading photo’s via FTP to photodune should be sorted now.

There also were some issues with model releases being missed for some items over this period. Apologies for this but future uploads should no longer have this issue.

We should have also solved the problem of items taking excessive time to process. In saying that, sometimes items can take up to a couple of hours to process due to load on the site.

If you are still having problems with Bulk FTP submissions. Let us know and we’ll see what can be done.

I am uploading the MRS to the folder and then the pictures to the previous folder..

Hey luissantos84,

You should be uploading your photos to the bulk_import/photos directory and model releases to the bulk_import/photos/model_releases/ folder

If you are doing that then you should be fine.

We had a couple of hicups over the last couple of days where some model releases were missed. These issues should be sorted now though.
