Buttons don't work when loading external swf

im having the same problem, im pulling my hair out, i tried lockroot on loaded swf but i still cant access the buttons from the loaded swf file. I can however access the main timeline buttons that the swf is loaded into. i even tried modifying my OnRoller funcitons on the loaded swf file as _parent.instantname.OnRelease { do some action } no luck!! Im willing to pay someone to figure this out it got be drove!!
