buy html template and sell it again as wp theme?

Hi all, just curious,

As the title above, is it okay if we buy any html template from themeforest, and then convert it to wp theme, and then sell the theme on themeforest again?

You’ll need to get the permission from the author of that template, it’s unlikely that he’ll just let you take all the credit for the wp version for $15.

oh, sorry.. have just found this statement in licensing regulation :

“Items purchased under a Regular or Extended License may NOT be redistributed or resold “as-is” or as part of any other collection of image resources or files.”
