Will there ever be an option for a cheque? Shouldn’t be any fees there!

Cheques are a dying breed mate. There’s still a fair amount of admin related to managing such a task & postage cost to world of countries us author reside in. Not to mention the fact cheques are difficult for envato to trace when payment queries arise.

The Buy Now option is a good one i think.

I disagree with you on the dying breed bit regarding cheques. Where did you get that from?

That is true about the admin part on posting them alright, I just thought if google can do it with adsense, why not Theme Forest?

I haven’t written a check in maybe 3 years, and then it was only for rent. Now I pay everything online electronically, from the mortgage to bills. I couldn’t tell you where my checkbook was if my life depended on it. I used to see my mom writing checks at the grocery store as a kid, but that was 20 years ago. Nowadays people just use Visa or Mastercard branded debit cards.

On the receiving end, I used to get paid by check from clients (business or cashiers checks only), but now I have a new policy of PayPal or bank wire only. I’ll gladly pay the fee for instant availaibility (1-3 business days vs. 10 business day hold for checks), and not having to drive to the bank.

I live in the US, so maybe it is different in other countries?

Is there any chance of speeding up payments to authors? I really dislike having to wait until the 15th of every month. Even if there was a dollar (or five or ten) charge to get it faster, I’d like the option to withdraw money on my own schedule.

@babyboy – It’s always a possibility; but my guess is that we won’t be implementing this feature anytime soon.

@designspike – The problem is that, with nearly 300,000 members, it would be impossible – at this time – to allow for withdrawals any day of the week.
