I like everything except the $35 fee for swift. I gave up using paypal because of the fees and looks like I will be facing the same problem while using swift. The bank already takes about $30 fee and there is a crazy amount of fee there. Why do you guys take this money from the pocket of the authors while there are other ways to cover these costs.

My suggestions;

  • Increase the minimum transfer amount for swift to $1000. (This will definitely reduce the number of users who request swift payments)
  • Increase file prices $1-$2 to cover the costs.

I don’t know if it’s the same outside the US, but I’ve never been charged for getting money from Envato and putting it in my account.

Well, I don’t know the US but I’ve never got the same amount of money that I request. There have been always some difference between $25-$30.

That’s what I wanted to ask as well. There’s always a 30 bucks difference. Does this mean that we’re gonna have a 65 dollar loss? It’s not much, but it’s not cool :D

Same here, I think the bank which initiates the transfer deducts around $30 :(

Same here… Every time I was getting $25-$30 less on my bank account (Europe). So next swift withdrawal for me will cost $35+$30=$65

Very disappointing :(
