I did a tut for the Themeforest Blog a while back – wondered if I’m allowed to gloss this up and sell it here on the new marketplace?

Be great if so.

Hi jeffeatworld, that’s a good question. The short answer is yes :) The long answer is that you’d have to sufficiently update and add more depth to the tutorial that it was, in truth, a different more in-depth tutorial but based around the same concept. From our perspective, you can see how we can’t sell something that is essentially available for free elsewhere. So you’d need to really expand upon that tutorial and turn it into something new.

Cheers – I thought along those lines too, seems a bit of a sell out if you could just submit something that’s free to get from the blog lol.

Thanks though, because now I know I’m going to go ahead and build on it – add value so to speak. Not only that, I got some really valuable feedback from the comments so it’ll be good to give those a run through.

Is there some sort of requests for tutorials thread?
