Thanks, I know for sure that a listing system can be created but I’m not so sure if a login system for clients so they can list as well can be done. Not sure if anything like that is limited by Wordpress.

You can merge Wordpress with your own CMS /Framework/almost anything, which can be handy in some cases, but if you are really looking for a sophisticated solution like the one on http://www.trulia.com/ it’s better to create your own backend. That would be tens of thousands of dollars if you would hire someone to do the job.
