I was trying to upload a new site-template. after filling all the fields in the upload form I pressed submit and it took me to this page:

I tried uploading this theme 3 times and I get the same problem.

What Is Wrong?!

You could try different browsers. I use friefox 3.5 on windows system, no problem.

I use the same system and browser as you do. So you are saying you uploaded something today and had no problems?

It’s an on-going issue that has been reported over several weeks that has STILL to be fixed – search the forums for uploads errors and you will find a work around – basically opening a new browser window and going to the upload page should show all your files you uploaded so you can try again – I believe it’s some kind of time-out issue. (don’t quote me on any of that – please search)

Again this NEEDS TO BE FIXED PLEASE DEVS – it’s rather important to the life of the marketplace :)

So you are saying that there is a solution? what do you mean by:

It happens when you stay too long uploading your item and filling out the form. I have managed to solve this issue and avoid those 404-pages by having a description, tags, and extra information ready.

Of course, sometimes your file is just a bit too big, then you’ll have to upload it, once it’s saved close that windows and go to a new upload windows, it’ll be there and you’ll just have to select it in the drop-downs and add your (supposely) ready text.
