Hey guys!

I bet you guys have been watching the Worldcup as well, and have probably been annoyed to no extent by those fancy noisemakers the audiance seems to enjoy this year. Don’t know what I’m talking about? These! The national TV station here in the Netherlands claims they can’t do anything about it, filtering it out or anything. The BBC , however, seems to do a much better job.

From what I’ve heard, those annoyances only know 7 different frequencies.

I was just wondering.. Is it really that hard to filter out a few frequencies from the audio output? Does anyone know any software that is capable of doing this? (obviously this would only concern the livestreams, as most TV’s arn’t that open to installing your own software ;)) Or is there a way to define my sound card to do that? I havn’t had any luck googling or going through the configurations of my sound card :(

I realise one might argue that the ‘off-topic’ section is more suited, but I guessed that there are very techsavvy people all over the marketplaces and I hoped perhaps someone from another marketplace have the solution (AudioJungle? CodeCanyon?). If it’s really a problem, I appologize – feel free to just move this thread to the off-topic section :)

If you have ability to apply any “exciter” to your TV, do it. :) The quiet sounds will become quieter, the loud sounds will become louder.

At least you just have them on your TV!! Here in SA, the last few days have been a bit noisier than usual and I don’t think any software or filter exists to cancel out the noise…

Insecticide in the speakerholes will do the trick!

I’m not very bothered by them, first 10 minutes it’s like shut up!, 10-20 minutes it’s like wow what a sound and after that you don’t even notice the sound anymore.

But, for the real diehards, there’s an organisation.
