I need a good detailed maya model of a canon DSLR camera, preferably the canon t1i, I’m going to make a logo intro/stinger, and need the model so i can animate it, if anyone knows where I can find one, or is willing to make one, please let me know!

in a format maya can read so i can animate it. .obj i think will work. also the lens would be the standard kit lens, i think 18-50mm. and detail would need to be pretty high. as i would be using it for a VideoHive template where the camera spins around and there are various text place holders.

photorealistic would be ideal. but realistically i probably don’t need THAT much detail.

if you can make it, that would be awesome. and i’ll credit you in the template.

Which model or does it matter? I have the Canon EOS digital rebel 300d .I could use that for getting the dimensions and fine details :)

yeah. that would work. as long as it looks like a modern Canon Camera. that would be great!

EDIT : i just found out that .obj’s don’t keep texture mapping when transferred. so if you know of a file format that does and that maya will read, that’s great!

or if you also send me files for mapping with instructions i might be able to do that myself if you cant get me the file texture mapped

Things are going well just doing it on spare time.. :) VERY Challenging. FXB is the format you’ll be wanting.. I do everything in max so that should be ok you Maya :). When its done I’ll repost so you can have a look. btw is there a deadline? or a budget?
