I need a good detailed maya model of a canon DSLR camera, preferably the canon t1i, I’m going to make a logo intro/stinger, and need the model so i can animate it, if anyone knows where I can find one, or is willing to make one, please let me know!

What format do you need it in, what size lense and how much detail? Photoreal?

Thanks, Jason

in a format maya can read so i can animate it. .obj i think will work. also the lens would be the standard kit lens, i think 18-50mm. and detail would need to be pretty high. as i would be using it for a VideoHive template where the camera spins around and there are various text place holders.

photorealistic would be ideal. but realistically i probably don’t need THAT much detail.

if you can make it, that would be awesome. and i’ll credit you in the template.

Which model or does it matter? I have the Canon EOS digital rebel 300d .I could use that for getting the dimensions and fine details :)

yeah. that would work. as long as it looks like a modern Canon Camera. that would be great!

thanks!

EDIT : i just found out that .obj’s don’t keep texture mapping when transferred. so if you know of a file format that does and that maya will read, that’s great!

or if you also send me files for mapping with instructions i might be able to do that myself if you cant get me the file texture mapped

Things are going well just doing it on spare time.. :) VERY Challenging. FXB is the format you’ll be wanting.. I do everything in max so that should be ok you Maya :). When its done I’ll repost so you can have a look. btw is there a deadline? or a budget?
