Captcha is the most annoying thing on earth.

This is definitely a far better and less annoying solution:

of course there are other solutions. it is more important that whomever decided to implement captcha be allowed to continue to torture envato customers than it is to do whats right for the business.

i should move on from this subject as i have moved the bulk of my business to dj, but i still cannot get over how absolutely disregarded i have been. here is a link to the latest captcha that i had to content with.

since i come to envato sites less and less i now encounter captcha every time which makes me visit even less. tell me that this “human detection method” is anything other than utterly insane and customer-hating: http://dvmod.com/envato-insane.jpg

im seriously considering doing a full blown website on this subject

it happens quite often that i think “lets shop at envato” but everytime i see that i have been logged out – for whatever reason – and i have to login and fight with that damn captcha which is 8 of 10 times absolutely impossible to read, i just go somewhere else to get the things i need.

You don’t solve your security problems by putting a 3rd-party-security-plugin into your page – and especially that freaking stupid captha.

so here we are many months later. i see a bundle that looks interesting, but it takes me ten minutes to access my account. my account is set so that after i enter the correct password i THEN have to enter captcha.

what it tells me is that my complaints were answered with mockery. I used to spend hundreds of dollars a month with this company, but apparently they would rather let their coders harass their customers rather than find a more user-friendly way to sell their wares.

I am no longer hoping for a solution from this company. I post this, merely to share with other customers that you had better have perfect eyesight and dare not complain if you want to continue to use this site.

When I get around to it, I am going to expend some effort to share this information with the masses. Luckily, that option is open to me. :)

it happens much less to me nowadays. these people honestly dont give a crap. and they wont give a crap until somebody shames them publicly.
