Tryed to download a folder from one of my CD and this happened what does it mean and can I manage somehow to download my folder error free?

thats the way how to store porn :D sorry. out of my experience cds are the wrong medium to save important data! did you tried the same cd writer you created the cd with? maybe the disc damaged or the coating on the top side?

Now even external HDDs are not safe enough that people have to use cloud storage. CD/DVD is not a safe way to store your important data.

My suggestions are: Clean your CD surface by a soft cloth, remove any dust of the surface but don’t scratch it / Try with different CD reader, different computers, laptops etc., / Try to create an ISO image of the CD to your computer and if lucky enough you can extract the information from that ISO.

And next time if you have to burn the disc again try to burn it at lowest speed :). Good luck.
