Currently, Site Feedback isn’t centralized, so it’s pretty difficult to organise our ideas for the Marketplaces.

The Devs do have more pressing issues (fraud prevention, security etc) than our suggestions, however when the community speaks, things do get done.

So, I did some Googlin’ and found a tool where we can post our ideas, discuss them and vote on them.

The tool is called Ideascale – http://envato.ideascale.com/

This way the Devs and staff can see which ideas have been voted highest, and so, see which issues the community wants most.

Now, it may seem a pain to move discussions over there, but if you think it is a good idea to use a tool like this to centralize our feedback, please submit an idea!

I hope everyone can see the use in this, if enough of us use it, Staff will hopefully too :)

Funny Q&E, I was just discussing this very thing with Scott :)

I just want to let everyone know that we hold your opinions and suggestions very dear. With our current Developer crunch I know it seems that we may not be listening. But believe me, we very much do. I’d love to implement all the great suggestions I’ve been reading on the forums lately, but I can only program in Basic…so…you know.

10 INPUT “What is your Forum Name? ”, U$

20 PRINT “Hello ”; U$

30 INPUT “How many badges do you want? ”, N

40 GOTO 10

Hey, I’m not suggesting Envato don’t listen, simply saying it is pretty difficult (at least for me) to keep track of all the suggestion posts.

Every suggestion post starts with the phrase “I know this has been said before” – so if we used the voting method rather than starting another topic, everytime it was mentioned again, it would slowly bump it’s way to the top of the priority list :)

Holding our opinions and suggestions dear is great and all but it doesn’t IMPLEMENT anything. EVERYTHING is in the pipeline but NOTHING ever comes out – it’s completely clogged.

Would a hug help? :P

Honestly, I know what you’re getting at. But projects take time, especially if you aim to try and get it right the first time (which is pretty darn difficult as you know). Vahid’s recent road map gives a good idea of what we’re working on and some of the issues we’re facing. We’re aiming for more transparency, so while new features will not be launching overnight, hopefully we can keep you abreast with how they’re coming.

Now, about that hug…

just made me think and sing this.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Z4m4lnjxkY

But yh, I do agree it should be done quicker but you need to get it up with no problems so it is hard and thats why it takes time, Im sure you have this already :S but you should have some sort of beta site so things can get demoed and seen.. + we wont have problems where the elite badge goes because someone was messing with some code
