Changes to author dashboard

Ok, that makes more sense. Either way, I’m sure they have their reasons/arguments for changing it.

Since we are now on the same page, I always thought that the sole purpose of having a colored button was to make navigation easier/faster and objective to find, and so, never really had a problem with the old format. The new upload box is enormous…

Makes me want to upload a new item, just to see if it will gradually become smaller again. Wait a minute, I think they got me!

There are so many things to be changed and improved and you move a box from an ok place to a bad place. Don’t tell me that’s your best Envato.

wow .. the upload box is absolutely horrible! I don’t know who was with the idea, but it’s incredibly stupid!

Can Envato please stop doing stuff nobody requested and start doing some of already requested ones?

I agree that “upload item box” is not that important to be at the top of the dashboard. It was fine on the sidebar. I think i’ll be uploading maximum 1 new item/month, but i’ll be checking for new user comments several times in one day, so the box get’s in the way a little bit.

But i’m looking forward to the other changes

That upload new item box on top of the comments annoys me to death, I don’t want it there, I don’t upload items daily, and even if I would do it, it was just fine on the sidebar, please revert this change, in my opinion is useless.

I have to agree with most of the others. This wasn’t a neccesary step. I don’t need the upload form very often and I guess new authors will find it at the old position too.

I don’t need the filler flap of my car next to the steering wheel just because some newbies don’t know where it could be

What I like to see on the dashboard:

• New Item Comments
• New Ratings for items
• New public collections with my items
• New important stuff for authors
• Better summery of sales for the current week
• more fun facts

Totally agree. Useless update and useless waist of man power. Why don’t you make some updates that users request? Instead you go and change a position of upload box. Why? Does anyone complain that they have problems to find that upload box on the right? I don’t get it.
