We’ve made some changes to the Item progress indicator on the Author dashboard.
Partly we’ve made this change because we think it looks Funky, but it’s also part of larger changes that we’re making to the Item proofing process to streamline and speed it up.
Some technical details for those who want it: The new proofing process has reviewers proofing from a personalised queue of items based on their individual skill sets. So where an item may be number 12 out of 50 for one reviewer it may be number 35 out of 95 for another reviewer.
So a numerical placement in the queue no longer has as much meaning.
What we can do is track the progress of an item through all of the queues and thus the Funky new Item proofing progress indicator was born.
Hope you all like it!
Yes,I found it and already post a threadshttp://activeden.net/forums/thread/author-uploads-currently-processing-change/55680
Yes its really looks good, but a kind of estimated time would be very useful, and also the uploaded itmes XX/XX was very informative. Also was the info, regarding the category.
Very nice, just a small suggestion: Progress bar for files in the queue, instead numbers
Looks great! But I think it was done so that the authors did not see many people standing in line, and not nervous, that they loaded 600 in queue))
