Changes to the Marketplace - Envato Account Center

Just spotted an issue where newly created users (since we turned on Single Sign On), can’t update their Marketplace profile information.

Fix to be deployed shortly for that.

I have a stupid question. When you said that we will see SSL, I was hoping to see it all over the marketplaces. At this moment only account.envato.com has HTTPS. It is not important to implement it in all the marketplaces? Or only the login pages should have it?

I’m wondering if https://account.envato.com/sign_up?ref=username works for referrals?

I cannot sign in using Safari on a Mac. The entry fields retain the default info ‘Username’ and ‘Password’ with my username and password transposed ON TOP of it, then pressing sign in does nothing.

Works okay on Firefox on the Mac.

I’m sure there’s a simple answer, but forgive my ignorance… It seems like it would be great if analytics were integrated into single sign-on as well… I don’t get why there’s the need to use an api key to log in for that. Is that something that is possible with the current analytics system and/or are there plans to integrate analytics down the road?

Securing our users main account details was a big priorty so we tackled that project first. Now that we have completed this critical first step, we will be able to look at the best approach to take for an overall solution.

You will need to link to the Marketplace for referrals to work, not to accounts.envato.com
