Hi,

I’m working on my first multilingual site and have a quick question about the charset.

Normally I use utf-8 for English sites, but for the French side of the site, should I use that, or iso-8859-1?

Thanks -Tom

If you use utf-8 you will have more flexibiity if you will decide to change a cms in the future. Because there are such CMSs or plugins for joomla or drupal, that allow multilingual content to be stored in one database.

+1 for UTF -8

Using specific content encoding with a CMS will make more problems than it solves :)
