Chillwave Dance

I have a house party scene where I want a very specific kind of sound for the music being played in the background. I’ve heard the genre be described to me as “Chillwave” and I know I want a bit higher tempo to give it a definite dance drive. Other terms that come to mind are lo-fi and indie, while we’re throwing out vague categories.

The whole lazy vocals, chiptune aesthetic, and shoegazy production really capture the mood I want. Vocals are not a must but definitely welcome.
