What is the best way to achieve good results with this pass ? I’ve tried Reel smart, but result wasn’t good enough… It blurs in wrong directions or blurs when it shouldn’t….

How da hell to get right motion blur in compositing stage from C4D passes? :)

Anyone ?

Should work fine with Reelsmart, but it won’t work properly where there’s an alpha channel. It interprets the edges wrongly.

With an alpha channel, just use the normal MB Pro.

I generally, find actually that for movement in a whole scene, a vector pass is perfect, but objects moving about within a scene are tricky, because they cross one another – you fundamentally can’t create the motion blur with a bit of smearing.
