Clean up the unused accounts?

do anybody know why the old unused accounts is not deactivated/deleted?

Uhh..3 years (or something like that) ago I made an account ,didn’t know to much about design so I didn’t spend to much time on GR ,after 1 year and some months I found GR again and wanted to see more about the site then I sow that I have an account already ,I was like wow XD and continued the whole day browsing GR

I dont think GR could actually do that, as you have seen even if an account has one item it has a chance of selling, and also for buyers it is believed they will always come back to purchase items even after staying years without using the acc.

Why do you want such a thing? As far as I know there’s no site on the net which completely removes inactive accounts. E-Mail providers for example, clean and disable your mailbox however the account actually remains. Who knows, user might be back any moment. No place I know does that so why should envato?

@KurtBilisim, just asking, nothing more. FYI there are many websites that sometimes removing unused/empty/dead accounts, so anyone else be able to register a ‘dead’ login name.

They can disable old accounts on request, “freshface” was one of these old and unused accounts. TF veterans will remember us as “_freshface” until we asked for “freshface”

Because it seems like you cannot find out about it in the current policy
