Hi i am about to start learning a CMS . I have used both Drupal and Wordpress not all that much. (played around with some custom theme). I am not sure which one i should spend most of my time on, would like to chose one.

My question is what are the pros and cons, when choosing between these two in reference to building custom themes from scratch.

In the jobmarket what do you think the firms are striving after ?

When should i choose Drupal and when should i use Wordpress ? Is it just a matter of taste ?

Wordpress pros: many plugins Wordpress cons: ???

Drupal pros: ?? Drupal cons: ??

Thanks in advance

Wordpress would be my choice. Drupal is of lower class and they don’t have as many templates available for purchase.

Wordpress would also be my choice if i had to buy a template. But for a client who wants a custom template made by you, then you would also always choose WP ?

Is it just a matter of what you feel most comfortable with.
