Like… in php? Almost any php bible book has an example to build a basic content management system.

Like something I can tie to a XML database and edit content. Like something that I can use to edit Flash XML ’s.

You should start from learning php, mysql and then… you will understand from where to start to create a cms ;)

Start with PHP and MySQL. Find a solid reference or bible on the topic, it should cover how PHP handles XML and you’re good to go from there :)

server side scripting is not a joke. you need strong php and sql knoledge before even thinking to write complex apps like backends.

I think it’s easy if use flash + php + XML

Generate xml string with flash , then flash control php , php edit or re-write XML files , MySQL is not necessary

I did that with good result in my CMS template

also php+xml is useful to write simple admin panel for your flash components , like photogallery, rotator and so on
