I see that some authors use things like sliders from Codecanyon. When you use stuff from that site in your theme you must buy an extended license. Correct?
Yep, and one extended license for each theme used in.
@ThemeShaper It’s one extended license for each different themes by same author. or many themes -> one author -> one extended license?

1 extended license = 1 product to sell on TF / 1 theme
if you want to use the same slider in another theme you create to sell, you must buy another extended license from what I understand.
Also be careful if you are thinking of using say a plugin from CC, you have to question, how you can possibly make sure if things break in a WP version update, and the author then releases an update to fix, how the heck you could possibly get that to all your buyers, you can’t… that’s a major issue and one I hope people have thought about.
At least if it’s from the WP plugin site, it gets a notification and it’s a download and done, you can’t pass buyers to the CC item to get an update.
Something I’ve been meaning to mention for some time now as I bought a few extended licenses to use various plugins, then realized after spending the money the issue of updates – hence I just scrapped the plugins I paid quite a bit of money for
