I see that some authors use things like sliders from Codecanyon. When you use stuff from that site in your theme you must buy an extended license. Correct?

1 extended license = 1 product to sell on TF / 1 theme
if you want to use the same slider in another theme you create to sell, you must buy another extended license from what I understand.
Also be careful if you are thinking of using say a plugin from CC, you have to question, how you can possibly make sure if things break in a WP version update, and the author then releases an update to fix, how the heck you could possibly get that to all your buyers, you can’t… that’s a major issue and one I hope people have thought about.
At least if it’s from the WP plugin site, it gets a notification and it’s a download and done, you can’t pass buyers to the CC item to get an update.
Something I’ve been meaning to mention for some time now as I bought a few extended licenses to use various plugins, then realized after spending the money the issue of updates – hence I just scrapped the plugins I paid quite a bit of money for
