We’ve planned to hand out badges to our focus group members but haven’t yet talked about handing out badges to community consultants :D

I recommend the focus group get a special badge, and it should be somewhere around 200X200 pixels :D

Hi,

I just want to suggest some search features and category which might useful

For the category

What if you add more niche category on the business and profession like 1. Business owner or small business, there will be authors who can create simple design with easier usage of the theme rather than the corporate

2. Musician 3. Trainer/motivation like dog trainer, people trainer, seminar, etc 4. Specialized Doctor 5. Chef 6. Teacher 7. Etc

Those people somehow needs a cool website to show their profile which easier to maintenace by themself rather than using business or corporate theme with complicated features

Instead of putting those category inside the landing page, you can make those category stands alone but still inside the small business category or landing page category, or maybe new category of profession.

8. Please add updated themes category in your nav bar, so the buyer can see the themes which have new updated features, this help great old theme to get more sales.

Search features

1.I saw you have implemented search by rating of the theme, what about making it more details like search with ratihg of the design, easier usage of the theme, and best support rating.

2. I hope you can add search for last updated theme, so people can search theme which have updated recently, it gave the older good theme exposure and chance to generate more sales from the new buyer

I’m posting here because I was referred to this thread by the author of a theme I purchased. To be clear, I am not an author or developer, I’m a photographer who’s gotten into making websites for clients using Wordrpess.

I’d like to suggest that in your support/comment area for authors & their themes on Themeforest, you add the ability for purchasers to reply to posts by other purchasers. It would allow us to request clarification on items, perhaps clarify things or others, and help other purchasers when we know the answer to a question they have, and to be more specific about how to work with a theme.

Let’s face it, most authors are busy and if there’s a lot of questions about their theme in the support area, they’re going to have a hard time keeping on top of them. Other purchasers can help out. I just did with the author of my theme and he was very appreciative.

Also, it would be great if we had the option to allow others to contact us directly, via the email address associated with our account. Then, if we need to, we can do so and communicate with one another about the theme and potentially solve problems without needing the author to be involved. Or find out how someone did some custom work on their site, etc.

Thanks for reading, and I have sent these suggestions to Envato support via a ticket as well. I know this is a thread for developers and authors, and it’s a bit off-topic, but maybe if you guys agree with what I’ve suggested, you could help in trying to get these things implemented.

whew, boy do i agree with this request. i hate that I canot help others when they leave comments on projects that I know the answer to and they aren’t being answered.
