Hi, I just want to be sure: we are free to use the patterns we created via colourlovers.com’s seamless pattern generator in our themes, right? :)

Thanks for your reply man, but I’m talking about patterns. I guess there isn’t a licence issue about patterns too (at least with the ones I create), but as I said I just want to be sure ;)

I don’t know about the patterns that you create, I just found the CC logo at the bottom of the page linking to a by-nc-sa license…

Ok guys, I asked in their forums:

Hi, I just want to ask can I use the patterns I create here with the tool Seamless Studio in templates that I sell?

and they made it clear:

If you create the pattern in Seamless. Yes.

If you simply color in another pattern template created by another member… you need to get their permission first.

We’re working on improving the licensing system so that it makes it easier for each member to set the usage rights for all their creations.

Nice :)
