actually I think any app should be optimizied/refactoring/ QA testing before getting out there, so it’s not something like…yeah it works but that code has been optimized …

@bobocel NP. I really did the video to help share with people the potential of the new AIR 2 .6 stuff. I thought it was terrible when it first came out with CS5 and was blown away when I found it had improved so much with 2.6.

It really sucks to put in so much hard work on a side project to be talked down to by some “people” as if I’m pulling the wool over their eyes.

We might be using AIR for an application similar to the New York Times reader, later this month. The client also wants to try it on iOS devices, so I’m glad it’s improved!

I don’t think anybody has a bad intention on the forums.

@wovencharlie, I don’t know why anyone here would be negative about the Adobe evangelist team and any of the videos they put out.

I thought the video was great. I do wish it was as easy as hitting “command + return” for publishing to all those devices. It’s promising none the less.

Now that’s something. Would be awesome to deploy flash stuff on all these devices with just the same code.

Is the iPad version an App or something hack kind of thing?
