I think Envato should offer a reward for the first theme that can use comic sans appropriately

As Designers we’re usually open-minded. We usually hate any kind of boundaries which limits our creativity. HATING something is the opposition of what we stand for. So if someone says to me he hates Comic Sans I always need to laugh and think that this guy only hates it because it is trendy to hate it. But people who say “well, also Comic Sans has its purpose, there must be a simple reason why it is spreaden so far and I respect this”...those people have my respect in turn.

Some times hating something makes sure some people to feel they stay within the trend. Also sometimes it happens that people of certain profession never accept average people’s choice. The hatred towards Comic sans was one of the examples. It is just Microsoft’s mistake of not including 3-4 more similar style fonts with their default package – if we have to blame something.

Yeah, I’m also not a fan of Comic Sans, or chicks shaving the sides of their heads. :)

I have no idea why people hate this font. If you don’t like it just remove it, simple. Has hating become the new trend?
