You have an entire row dedicated to the breadcrumb. Why not move it down and use the same row as the paging on the top – would make more sense and free up a little real estate with an already busy header.

I can’t help but think that for new buyers that sight of the top of the page with 6 lines of text links will be a bit overwhelming, especially now that the tabs don’t even have some sort of area boundary…

And strange teal hover color… I like teal… but wouldn’t it make more sense in envato’s green from the logo?

To be honest I dislike it, the old one was way much more fluid. Why would you roll out bits and parts of a new design over an old design?

+1 for what WebSmacker proposed.

I do not like the font family and font weight (bold) for the tabs. Also, instead of teal I suggest orange for CodeCanyon as it matches the CodeCanyon style.

And, as a new feature: display related items on an item’s page. Now, if you go to see an item your only option to further navigate is either go back or start your search again. This could be placed in the right sidebar before the tag cloud.

I know that TF + Envato is right now a really complex site to display, but really, the new header is a big no-no, both from design perspective but most important, from user (usability) view. Apart from obvious aligment issues, it needs a deep re-think out there. Maybe a big meeting with blank papers and pencils, who knows… but i’m sure you will reach something satisfactory! :)
