It would be nice to have the option to have a sticky message at the top of the comments section for all users to see before they comment. For example, if I went on vacation for a week, I could say “Support unavailable until Feb 28. Author on vacation.”, or “Support comments will be answered withing 1-2 business days.”, or “Please email me through my profile if you have any support questions/requests” .... etc..
I think authors and buyers would both benefit greatly from this.

I think it’s a great idea but I would like to take it one step further and basically from my profile settings I can create a “global” message – rather like all the envato banners we get all the time, but I could type (and include basic html for link to support for example) a message and then click activate, then anyone looking at any of my product pages, profile page or portfolio would see this banner message.
That would be very useful.
Perfect Jonathan!
Reading the threads here, on the forum, I am often amazed how little the authors know about business in general and human/customer’s psychology in particular.

wha?
I see I have puzzled you, sorry for the hints instead of direct explanation. But well, open your mind and you will understand what I mean.

You seem like a nice person, but you are speaking in complete riddles.
As a note – I opened my mind, it still doesn’t get it.

@virtuti : How about if you stop quoting the text from your religious books. Not everyone follows them and it’s against the forum rules I’m sure.

The passage you quote is from the mouth of the Lord God Himself telling of the heritage that His servants will receive – which is peace – hence, “no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed”.
So, being a firm believer myself in the Word of God, I don’t quite understand how your comment helps anyone interpret this thread.
