It’s a brand spanking new year, and that means it’s time to pick 2012’s last Community Superstar. Our winner has been an all around great guy and an author on multiple Marketplaces. A big congratulation goes out to DarkstarDesigns!

Who is this DarkstarDesigns guy anyway?

It’s been a busy year for DarkstarDesigns (or Stephen as his friends and large assortment of enemies like to call him), with a major win in the “growing hair on your face” department during our November Golden Mo competition. And what a better way to cap off the year than with a Golden Community Superstar badge. That may even be enough to put a happy face on Stephen’s angry star avatar. Maybe?

DarkstarDesigns has been a member of the Marketplaces since 2009 and has racked up some healthy sales on both 3DOcean and GraphicRiver. His profile page says he lives somewhere “near London”, which I can only assume means Middlesbrough.

First of thanks very much for the community Star feature it means a lot to me, I really enjoy spending time here, I am just starting to become active again after some slumber. The envato site have been a life saver, I use it everyday for work and it save so much time and money which mean I can complete projects I would never have had time for before. It great to be around so many great artist, so thank you.
