Why you do not pick up one platform like wordpress only, or open cart, and build themes for only that platform?

Ok, that’s cool!
My point was… Try to focus on one or in your case two platforms for e-commerce, and try to be doctor on that field. Try to have good people in team with good experience & skills. And also do not forget to build a high-quality support center, and also, knowledge Base.
Invest some money in advertising. (google adwords, or on some sites for graphic design)
Try to create less themes, but on the other side with full-quality, and continue with updates and support!
