A potential clients developer has disappeared without giving ftp details to the wordpress site he built and the site is sat on the developers dev server. The client wants his site moving onto his own server. Is this possible without ftp details.

I’m working on a simular issue and found ‘BackupBuddy’ which appears to do what you are asking. It is paid for plugin. A quick search online finds a few blog posts where people walk through the process of moving a site with this tool. Looks like it may do the trick.
We do WordPress Support and this may be something we look into as a tool to keep in our pocket. One blog post recommends coupling this with a database export plugin, though it seems like that may be covered. Anyone have any experience with this?
