I also agree on this one, and I think it’s Israel Kamakawiwo?ole version of “Over the Rainbow” kinda launched this trend, with that ‘simple, but beautiful life’ mood. Then Jason Mraz brought it back in the spotlight and sealed the deal with “I’m Yours” – so yeah, ukelele is definitely a good way to go at the moment !

Also Joe Brown’s version of “I’ll See You In My Dreams” at the concert for George Harrison, this is an absolutely delightful track, the Ukelele Orchestra Of Great Britian have inspired a new breed of players too.
