Hello!

I’m a happy purchaser of BoxedBusiness template from Themeforest. Everything is working fine and I have correctly used at my personal website.

However, the contact form included in the template doesn’t work. I have correctly filled the send.php file with my e-mail address, uploaded that file to the server at the correct folder, but when I fill the information at the contact form (www.jmartinezcano/contact.html) it doesn’t seem to respond.

I have personally contacted through themeforest.net with the author, but I have no answer from his side. Could anyone shed some light on what could be the problem? Maybe I am missing something, but according to the instructions provided at the template documentation, there’s no need to do anything more.

Thanks in advance!

You should see the comment of the item, if the other customers had same problems, so the contact form had the problem, if not, It’s maybe from your server seeting!

Please check if the mail() function is enabled on your server or not! That’s only my idea!

Hello!

Thanks for the reply.

How can I check that the server () function is enabled? I previously checked that php was installed in my server uploading a file that, in case php is installed, it shows a message confirming it.

On the other hand, I can’t check other users’ experience since there seem to be very few of them that bought this template :(

In case some expert is reading, the validation fucntion works, because if I fill the information without writing the e-mail, or the name and then press “Send it”, it warnings me that I forgot to fill that field.

Thanks in advance.

I think your send.php file should be in the same location as your index.html file. that is, if your index.html is outside any folder, then you should place the send.php outside any folder. Hope that works

However, it doesn’t changed anything… Actually I’m sure the send.php file should be at the folder /layout/php/, because in the documentation it doesn’t say anything about changing the file from the original structure…

Thanks

Got no answer on stackoverflow as well :(

I have found more people on internet asking how to make it work without any successful answer… Is the template owner really responsible for answering? His page here shows that he’s available for support, but he has not answered any of my messages…

Thanks in advance
