My theme Continuum will not install on WOrdpress. Is there another way to install the theme. I download WIN ACE and I don’t know what to do. I am so upset right now.

Hi,

you should contact author of the theme, this is just the general forum of themeforest. But maybe this article will help, seems like you are not installing the theme properly:

Have you tried reading the documentation? That will have instructions as to how to install the theme assuming you have the Wordpress theme and not the HTML template. Good luck

PLEASE Envato, do something about missing stylesheet issues, there are 3-4 topics about that every day. Maybe when the user clicks on the download button, a popup should appear that warns user to unzip the downloaded file first and read the documentation…

Yes I agree with ThemePrince, this is one of the most common support requests that we get also and in most cases it could be avoided.

Maybe for themes it would be possible to have two download buttons in the downloads section? Something like “Download Theme” and “Download Support Files”?

brad7 download WinZip or WinRar, and then extract the files. Within the archive you will find an item named exactly like the theme ( maybe short name ), example.zip let’s say. That’s the item you must upload to your WordPress panel! :)

Only Envato has the means to consistently communicate to buyers as to what they are actually buying.

I guess there is a lot of ways that could be accomplished but they have to try what would work best. I guess there could be something in the header of item detail page describing what the item is (HTML/CSS – only html and css files are included, WordPress Theme – the theme work only with WP…).

Or maybe a more detailed description of the purchased item during 1st checkout?

Also I think no one can blame buyers trying to save a buck by buying site templates at 1/3 the price of a WordPress theme, and then trying to install the template as a WordPress theme :).
