Hey Jeff

I don’t have any WP plugins, but i would like to convert this into a joomla plugin, as well as a wp plugin: http://activeden.net/item/xml-slideshow-with-ken-burns-effect/32354

Do you think it will make a good (joomla) plugin? :)

I recently submitted a plugin that’s currently hidden but I’m sure you Jefferey can view it at http://codecanyon.net/item/portfolio-premium-wp-plugin/154612

It was rejected because some simple mistakes I made but it should be approved soon as I’ve fixes all that.

I’d love to convert this into a Joomla Plugin though, just let me know what you want me to do.

Hey,

I can probably make these work under Joomla:

Finally! A Joomla plugin category! Yeaaahhh!!! :)

Just to clarify, I’m working with o_creative since last year :)

I’ve only just installed joomla (sad face) sorry have been flat out.

Joomla 1.6 was released on 10th of Jan 2011. Should we be creating components for Joomla 1.6 or Joomla 1.5, or both?

I’m just a bit concerned as there was no “upgrade to joomla 1.6” button in my 1.5 install (like wordpress shows when a new version is available). This makes me think that majority of customers will be running 1.5 for some time (or until they install the jupgrade component and run the manual upgrade).

ahhh I donno. Maybe for my first component I’ll make a joomla 1.5 version and a joomla 1.6 version (following this tute to create 1.6 from 1.5)

1.5 or 1.6 will be fine.

Though – I’d go with the latter. :)
