BUT now I have another problem: How to populate correctly the IMAGE upload fields?

I am using my localhost for development, but when exporting, final user just gets a file with images pointing to my “localhost”.

Shameful Bump :nerdy: Anyone can shed some light ^^ here? Much appreciated.

Not sure if that answers my question. Maybe I didn’t explain it correctly:

I am developing the theme using OptionTree. When exporting I nned my customers to be able to upload the theme (ZIP) and have some images in place.

I can’t do this cause my image files point to my localhost.

Is there an updated version of this somewhere? The plugin has since been heavily changed and the lines / references are not even close anymore.

Furher, I think the Options Tree plugin would better serve most of TF as a blank theme / dev file instead of a plugin. You simply drag the options-tree / admin folder into your theme, include whats needed in the functions.php and you are ready to roll.

Hi all,

I’m trying to learn how to use theme options. I can get the Option Tree working, create options etc, but say I want to make it so that the user uploads an image to replace the logo. Do I put the code in the header? I know this is a very easy simple question, but again I’m learning. Trying to teach myself.

Are there any screenshots or video tutorials that anyone have found? I’m an extreamely visual person.

Thanks!

You should use optiontree 2 . It s much easier to use

Also, look into the UPLOAD type in the docs

Hello ThemeProvince,

You mentioned there is an index.php file inside option-tree folder. But I have downloaded recently there is no any index.php file. There is ot-loader.php file.

is that same file? if yes please confirm which lines have to replace.

Thanks
