Hi Ste, I apologize if moving this to Global Off Topic gave the impression that I was somehow trying to kill the thread. Ever since this section was created, we were advised to follow a certain criteria to better organize the forums, which I believe applies to this thread. Nothing personal.

I very much enjoy your contributions and forum presence, so please don’t let my actions discourage you from doing your thing. Cheers.

Mate thats cool, no offence taken. Just seemingly there is an over complication of what exactly is classified as on and off topic.

Rather than make your life harder, I will just post replies to other peoples posts. I dont intend using the GOT area, its a utter waste of time and resources.

curious, if the CC off topic thread was removed would you have a problem using global off topic? global off topic = everyone can participate in the thread. I see no problem with it.

Quite simple really. But then thats my opinion, if the forums were “mildly” busy it would be understandable. But with perhas less than 30 threads a day …its a joke.

Anyhoo, feel free to delete.

And if you guys move stuff, at least get the devs make the topic tabs active.

I don’t understand. Global Off Topic threads still appear in the “All Topics” tab. What’s the issue? Am I missing something? I don’t see how it kills a thread at all.

I fail to understand how you came to that conclusion, the individual sites “Off Topic” sections may be quite desolate places but the GOT is quite lively.
