They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.. but in this case, it doesn’t look like imitation so much as copy/pasting !

Some time ago, I created a custom search engine for searching design resources. I still update it from time to time, and it’s a pretty useful too to have in your bookmarks.

http://sachagreif.com/drse/

Now check this out:

http://www.csscow.com/

They not only copied the least interesting part (the text), but they left in the link to my blog ! The best part is that the search engine is useless without the list of sites to search from, which they apparently haven’t added in (and this explains why you have far less results with their search engine than with mine).

I’d be mad, but the fact that they didn’t get any of the useful stuff kind of makes up for this.

Wow, your site is great. Would you mind if I add it as a resource and link when I get my site up and running? That other site is a cow…lol

Great! I will add both of you. I’m trying to put together resources for small churches that need to update their websites but can’t afford to pay thousands of dollars to do it. There are alot of church sites that need serious help..lol Alot of church sites are done by member volunteers (I am one) who really don’t know the first thing about designing a site (I fall into that category too). You guys and Themeforest are a big help!

Sorry, I didn’t mean to hijack the thread.

I had one of my sites completely ripped not to long ago, not the best feeling in the world.

Have you contacted the site owner? Here’s he’s info:

Looks like he’s also hosted with Dreamhost, you could contact them as well.

We can try to put it in this way:

People rip my work because I did an awesome job. LOL .

I know its kinda dumb but the theory is same with those pirated DVD or CDs :P Artist should be proud if they see their pirated CDs in a market ( I mean in Malaysia ). If you are not famous enough, your album is not worth to be pirated :P They have no demand LOL
