Hello.

I have a copyright question.
A client which purchased one of my items (http://codecanyon.net/item/advanced-permission-system/1947855) removed the copyright text from the footer.
Is the client allowed to remove the copyright and if yes in what circumstances?
Does the regular license permits removal of copyright text? If no does the extended license permits removal of copyright text? And again if it doesn’t how can I give the client permission to remove the copyright text, what license I have to provide?
Can I charge the client for this?
Thanks!

The two licenses do not hold any protection against the content edited after it has been purchased. The standard license clearly says “a website (commercial, personal, client) or intranet site project”. This means the client who bought this product is freely allowed to do anything with this item. What he can’t do is resell the product. If he/she does so, this will fall eligible under copyright claims.

Hope this clears things up!
