I’m new to all of this so forgive me if this is not posted in the correct place.

I recently bought the Core theme and I really like it except that I need to be able to list a title to my photos in the flow gallery.

Anyone able to help direct me to the right place? I don’t know if the creator has his/her own forum, etc..?

Total newbie, thanks in advance for your help.

You can also consider time zones, Envato item support policy, author’s support policy.

It means that authors are all over the world so there is time differences and therefore they may not reply instantly. Also Envato policy states that support (while commonly given by authors) is not required therefore the author has the right to not offer help or respond (unlikely though that is).

What you are asking about is definitely not a “support” issue. If the feature is not in the theme already then it would be categorised as a “customisation” that you will most likely need to pay the author or a freelancer to make.

Hope this clear sit up

Thanks for clearing this up for me. Makes perfect sense. It would be great to find someone to hire to help with this.

The best you can do for long run is to invest in yourself. Why paying others $$ thousands when you can do it yourself. Take it easy. Take some time to learn some basic CSS, test WP, Joomla, Drupal, work with it each and everything you touch.

If you expect everybody to do the job for you, you will never learn a bit.

Here’s what you can start, as any newbie you should go this route:
  • check author’s documentation, he is required to provide a very detailed guide in what and how
  • google for keywords like “Pretty Photo”, or WP gallery, or “some fancy name gallery”
  • there is a ton of tutorials on the web… did you know about wp tuts+ ??
  • time is money, invest the time in yourself now, later you won’t worry about the money anymore

Get it done!!
