Hi Themeforest,

Recently purchased the corporate bundle and I was wondering how to update a few of the WordPress themes to their current version number. I downloaded the bundle again in hopes of the new versions being available within the zip file, but to no avail. Also I looked up the theme to see if I could go that route.

Can someone please tell me what’s the deal with bundles and updates? How do I get the updates?

Great deal, but that kind of sucks! Thank you for the quick response. Love Theme Forest, but I probably won’t buy too many bundles in the future knowing that. Do the bundles at least include the latest version on the date purchased?

Thanks, LinkRep

someone from staff needs to answer that, I’m going assume they are the latest from when the bundle is at least created not launched(which only maybe a few days or a week time difference)

I think it’s the current version of when the bundle is created. Still it sucks not to be able to update and pretty much renders the themes useless.

I got the corporate bundle too and I think this will be the last time I’m buying a bundle on themeforest.

Please don’t get me wrong, but what do you expect for that amount of money? You get items worth far over 500$ for only a fraction of 20$ and seriously complain? If you buy some stuff from a hot sale you also won’t get nothing more than those products available at time – and only have the chance of a money back if that product is malfunctioning in some way.

If you want receive updates and get support from the author you should definitely buy the appropriate license from the author, as this will not only brings you those additional benefits but also demonstrates some kind of respect against the author and his/her hard work.

Period.

Although the price is fantastic, I’ll never use most of the things offered. I’m mostly interested in the themes. Even so, bundled themes just go into my library and might be used or not. So in my mind this is something like a sale… You buy something that you may not really need.

Also, what if a theme is bugged? I’m not asking about future support in forums etc… It’s just that some themes don’t work 100% and the updates are in fact fixes.

So considering these, I’ll prefer to only buy regular items and not bundles in the future. Still that’s just my case.. others might find more value – great for them :-)

I can understand not getting updates but not getting support renders the bundles useless. Often there is a lack of good documentation on a theme and questions need to be asked. I won’t be buying any more bundles if a theme is needed and no support is included. Nice idea just not very practical.
