Hi all, i nearly finished my very first template for themeforest which is going to be an html 5 template using css3 but the problem is, browser capability, i made everything else works fine on ie7 ie8 firefox 3.5+ all opera chrome versions but one thing that doesnt work on none of ie versions is the input attributes, apart from that the inputs work fine though but some html5 attributes like placeholder wont work on msi browsers, is it going to be a problem, will it get rejected or?i just dont wanna have classic inputs, while html5 gives us such good ability of having better input elements, what do you think i should be doing?
37signals posted a really neat tutorial on this
http://37signals.com/svn/posts/2609-customizing-web-forms-with-css3-and-webkitI think you are worrying a little too much though, concentrate on getting the rest of your theme absoloutely spot on as this is a minor issue really.
Sometimes we (authors) get stuck on the tiniest things for ages. Someone on here once told me to quit doing that and concentrate on the theme as a whole and it’s so true – otherwise you’ll never even finish.
Best of Luck.
well thank you for your responde my friend, i really appreciate that because i was stuck out there at that issue
now i am having fresh enough hopes to get it finished
