Scotland is a country , and earns to have its own flag here ; like every country.
This is the way it should be. If they can join European Football Championships with their very own flag , why not to have their own flag here , this is a championship too.
And they have the best quality of the “Angels’ Share” right ?

(“Angels’ share” is a term for the portion (share) of a wine or distilled spirit’s volume that is lost to evaporation during aging in oak barrels.)

Frankly my friends, it’s time to declare independence. I mean come on, what on earth does Canada need with the queen? And Australia still has the union jack in the corner of their flag!

The flag you have is the flag for the united kingdom, having a scottish flag isnt necessary as scotand is part of the uk. Equally, english ppl could ask for the english flag, red cross on white .

I don’t really think that’s an argument here – it’s not like we’re all waving the European Union flag At least, I’m not. Without going into politics, I dare say I’m both Dutch and European, but I identify more with the Dutch flag (for now..). I can imagine similar feelings on a smaller scale with Scotland and the UK.
