Hey all,

I’m almost ready to launch my commercial CMS . It does photo galleries, newsletters, e-commerce, and all the standard cms editing stuff.

Would I be able to include a coupon code in my templates to give the buyer (optional) free access to this CMS ? And how much can I advertise this third party CMS as part of the theme?

Don’t really like advertising things too much on here.

Cheers,

dtbaker

That is funny. I’m on the verge of launching my own CMS . Mine is like Cushy though. I’m sure yours will be much cooler.

I don’t see why you can’t do that to increase sales. Not sure how Envato would view that but if your coupon helps you sell more, well obviously that’s more dough in Envatos pocket.

I hope they wouldn’t have an issue with that since we only make a small percentage of each sale.

Sure – I don’t personally mind. However, you should ensure that your template doesn’t depend on this custom CMS . It should function as a stand-alone static template.

Sure can do. It’ll be a 100% standalone html/css with 110% optional cms component if they’re interested.
