Seems to me just using my name is best, since I’m just a one man team. Comes across more personable and approachable IMO. If I were part of something bigger with other people then certainly a studio name would be more appropriate.

I wanted a short name, preferably within 4-5 characters range whose domain was available in .com TLD. A few years ago I wrote a basic console app to that end, which went through a dictionary of 4-5 character words making a simple domain name resolution. Not many were available, in fact there were only 3 in the 5 letter range and I registered all of them :P

Typps is my favorite one which I’m using here at Envato. The others 2 I have lined up for future apps ^^
