Thanks. Is there not a way around coding? I’m not really a coder. I hate it. So is there any way around coding?

I’m actually working on a WordPress theme generator that doesn’t require any coding skills. You connect it to your brain, visualize the theme and it will create an instant ThemeForest ready WordPress theme.

Seriously though, there are no shortcuts. If you can’t code, you learn to code. It’s as simple as that.

Seriously?! Aside from the fundamental requirement to have a strong technical knowledge to produce files for here INCLUDING code even if you could do it another way then how would you support the theme going forward? If you want to sell WP themes surely you know that they are built on code?

To be comfortable building TF standard sites – you need to understand HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP. Realistically it will take a LONG time even if you learn fast and have nothing else to do and dedicate 24/7.

You would be much better trying to learn HTML5 and CSS3 first and focus on site templates as it is a lot easier.

If you are good at HTML/CSS/JS then learning to create a WP theme itself (theme that can be accepted on TF codewise) should take you few months. But it depends on you. Maybe you can do it within month and maybe you will spend a year and do nothing usable. But if you hate to code, then don’t waste your time and rather focus on something which you like.
